Who is responsible for your information

SafetyCore Ltd is the data controller. [to be completed before launch] Questions about this notice, or about your information, go to [email protected].

What is collected, and why

Your answers about your bakery. The business name, address, responsible person, products, process steps and controls you enter. These are needed to produce the plan, and they are kept so that you can leave the questions half finished and come back to them.

Your email address, if you give one. Used to send your plan and, once, to say that you left a plan unfinished. It is not sold and not added to a mailing list.

Payment information. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach this site. What is stored here is the fact of the order, the amount, and a Stripe reference.

A session cookie. One cookie holds a random token so the site can find your part-finished answers. It is strictly necessary for the service to work, so no consent banner is used. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking cookie.

The lawful basis

Producing and delivering the plan you asked for is performance of a contract. The abandoned-plan email and keeping the answers for service improvement rest on legitimate interests, and you can object to either at the address above.

Who else sees it

Stripe processes payments. Resend delivers email. Our hosting provider stores the data. Each acts on instructions and none of them is given your information for their own purposes. Nothing is sold to anyone.

How long it is kept

Unfinished answer sets are deleted after 12 months. Order records are kept for six years, because tax law requires it. Generated plan files are kept while the download link is live and for a short period afterwards so a lost file can be recovered.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask for it to be provided in a portable form. Write to the address above and it will be dealt with within one month.

If you are not happy with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
